LIVING IN FLORIDA: Art in a Jensen Beach Cottage Yard

Florida artist Kimber Leigh paints fun whimsical art on repurposed wood and other objects such as buoys, mailboxes and surfboards, and she displays her works in the yard. Painted buoys hang off the porch and whimsical Painted Mailboxes sit on pilings. You can have a custom theme painted!

The cutest Painted Buoys dangle not only from the porch but other places too. 

The painted pilings are my favorite. You can have Decorative Pilings sit anywhere in your yard (or inside the home) as a decorative accent or use them as side tables. Directional Beach Signs are attached to a Yard Stake that holds a colorful painted birdhouse.

 

A painted surfboard is a great way to bring interest to an exterior wall. 

And the cottage itself shows bright colors and Florida whimsy.
